Accused argued with man he murdered, court hears

James Desborough, 40, denies the murder of Claudio Aquilino, 57, and Daniel Coleman, 43, in 2025, following an argument. Separately, prosecutors claim Yorgen Fenech, 44, spent over €400,000 on legal fees for hitmen convicted of killing journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. Fenech, the heir to a major Maltese fortune, appeared in court via an armoured vehicle. He remains under house arrest after providing a record bail estimated at €50m during his ongoing trial.
