Amanda Staveley consortium set to buy Gold family’s 25.1% stake in West Ham

A consortium led by Amanda Staveley has reached an agreement to acquire the Gold family's 25.1% stake in West Ham. Vanessa Gold, daughter of former chair David Gold, is selling the shares following the collapse of a previously agreed sale to fellow shareholder Daniel Kretinsky. Staveley, who previously helped lead the Saudi consortium takeover of Newcastle, will now take over the family's holding in the club as the transaction moves forward for the businesswoman.
