Badenoch Slammed After Former Neo-Nazi Activist Chosen As Council Election Candidate

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch has been criticised following the selection of Joshua Bonehill-Paine as a council election candidate for Somerset Council. Bonehill-Paine, who previously identified as a fascist and supporter of white rights, has a criminal history including a 2014 conviction for malicious communications and a 2015 jail sentence for posting anti-semitic material. He was also convicted of racially-aggravated harassment against Jewish MP Luciana Berger and created the satirical publication Crewkerne Gazette.
