Thailand’s princess Bajrakitiyabha dies aged 47 after years in a coma

Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol, the eldest child of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, has died at the age of 47. The Royal Palace confirmed her passing after she spent nearly four years in a coma. The Princess, also known as Princess Bha, was hospitalised in December 2022 after falling unconscious due to heart problems while training her dogs. Her health had remained grave since the initial incident, leading to her eventual death following a prolonged period of illness.
