Donny Strathie, a 76-year-old Scotland supporter from Grangemouth, died suddenly in Boston on Sunday, 14 June. Having travelled to the United States to support the Tartan Army, he held a ticket for the match, fulfilling a long-held dream to see Scotland in the World Cup. His family has requested that fellow fans provide a special tribute to honour his memory following his unexpected passing during the trip to the tournament.
