A van driver from Cambridge has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving after a cyclist was seriously hurt in a crash. Separately, Nottinghamshire Police reported an incident on Thursday where a car collided with a stationary vehicle. This second crash resulted in the driver of the car being seriously injured. Both incidents involved significant road traffic collisions leading to severe injuries for the individuals involved in the respective accidents.
