Electrician 'seriously injured' after falling from height at Torness Nuclear Power Station

Two serious fall incidents have been reported. An electrician sustained severe injuries after falling from height at Torness Nuclear Power Station, resulting in an improvement notice for the employing company. Separately, a man was seriously hurt following a fall from the Library of Birmingham. Emergency response included the Trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team, a MERIT trauma doctor, and a Critical Care Paramedic, who provided immediate medical assistance at the scene of the library accident.
