Fujitsu is permitted to bid for lucrative Government contracts despite the fallout from the Post Office Horizon scandal. The Japanese technology giant is included on a new list of approved suppliers. This comes after failures linked to the Horizon IT system resulted in hundreds of subpostmasters being wrongfully convicted of stealing between 1999 and 2015. The company continues to be eligible to pitch for these public sector contracts regardless of the previous systemic failures.
