Goats can find food by following a human voice, study finds

Recent research indicates that goats can locate food by following the direction of a human voice, similar to the behaviour of young children. In experiments, 29 animals successfully moved towards a treat-filled bucket 60 per cent of the time when guided by a researcher. These findings suggest that goats are as proficient as dogs at interpreting human vocal cues to find items, highlighting a significant capacity for following human directions to obtain rewards.
