Only 14% of participants could accurately identify the various cost components, including policy, network, and operating costs, which constitute the total monthly household expenditure. Furthermore, the study found that many individuals severely underestimated the specific percentages attributed to these different areas, highlighting a significant lack of consumer understanding regarding energy pricing structures.
