Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have made music history as their hit single Rein Me In becomes the longest-running UK No 1 single. The duet spent 19 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the charts, surpassing a 73-year-old record established in 1953 by Frankie Laine. Laine's ballad I Believe previously held the record with 18 weeks at the top, a milestone that remained unbeaten until the recent success of the collaboration between Fender and Dean.
