Man jailed for 16 months for antisemitic attack

Shafiq Rahman has been sentenced to 16 months in prison at Reading Crown Court after admitting to a racially-aggravated assault. Rahman cornered Moishe Posen, a father of two, in a garden in Slough. During the attack, Rahman used antisemitic slurs and accused the victim of killing babies in Palestine. The offender admitted to the offences in April, leading to his incarceration for the targeted attack against the Orthodox Jew in the Slough area.
