Michael Olise: From Reading to the World Cup

Michael Olise, the Bayern Munich playmaker, began his football journey in Hayes, practising on a local housing estate with his brother, Richard. He played for Old Isleworthians in west London before joining Reading in 2016. Olise progressed to the Royals' first team by 2019, a move that kickstarted his professional career. Now representing France, Olise reflects on his early years as a period of freedom and pure pleasure while playing the game he loved.
