Sole Air India crash survivor ‘struggling financially’ after receiving just £21k to support young family

Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a British national and the sole survivor of the June 2025 Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crash, is calling for transparency and honesty one year after the disaster. The incident, which killed 260 people after striking a medical college near Ahmedabad airport, left Ramesh with significant psychological scars. He is currently struggling financially to support his young family, having received only £21k following the tragedy that he describes as a miracle.
