Rain is on the way – but some of the UK’s driest areas still won’t see a drop

The Met Office has issued a warning that although rain is forecast, some of the driest areas across the UK may still not receive any precipitation. Specifically, South East England is expected to continue seeing very little of the desperately needed rainfall. This indicates that despite the general forecast for rain, certain regions will remain dry, failing to see a single drop of the water required to alleviate current conditions in those specific locations.
