Real Madrid agree club record £115m deal for Yan Diomande and want to keep Vinícius

Real Madrid have agreed a club-record €135m (£115.7m) deal with RB Leipzig for 19-year-old Ivory Coast forward Yan Diomande, making him the most expensive African player. The agreement consists of €125m plus €10m in add-ons, following PSG's withdrawal. Meanwhile, the club is in positive talks with Vinícius Júnior, offering an improved contract to ward off interest from Arsenal. Diomande joined RB Leipzig from Leganés last summer and recently starred for Côte d’Ivoire at the World Cup.
