Seven human skeletons found at construction site

Seven human skeletons have been discovered at a construction site in Burnbank, where 24 new council homes are being built. The remains are believed to date back to the Medieval era, during which the location served as a cemetery. The development is situated at the former site of St Cuthbert's church. These residential properties are currently under construction and are scheduled to be completed by early 2027, following the discovery of the ancient remains.
