Student accommodation plans for old concrete site

Developers have unveiled new proposals to transform the former Cemex concrete works located in Pottery Lane, Newcastle. The project aims to repurpose the old industrial site, situated within the ex-industrial Forth Yards area overlooking the River Tyne, to create housing for 400 students. This latest attempt seeks to regenerate the concrete plant site by introducing high-density student accommodation, converting the previous industrial landscape into a residential hub for the city's growing student population.
