Sigrid Haugset won the third stage of the Tour de France Femmes, claiming the yellow jersey via a remarkable 88km solo effort. The 156.5km route from Geneva to Poligny was the tour's second-longest stage, featuring four categorised climbs and 2,500m of elevation gain. Riders faced intense heat between 33-35C and potential rain during the initial 25km, which contained the steepest and hardest sections of the day before the race concluded in Poligny.
