Travellers refuse to leave sport pitches amid allegations of abusive behaviour

Bridgend Council issued a legal notice requesting Travellers to vacate sports pitches following allegations of abusive behaviour. The caravan owners had initially refused to leave, which deprived sports teams and the local community of their field. However, the Travellers have now departed the site. Consequently, a major clean-up operation has commenced to restore the area after the occupants left the sports pitches as ordered by the council authorities in the region.
