Tributes to electric unicycle rider killed in crash

Benjamin Franklin Wells-Lane died on Friday following an electric unicycle crash in Poole, having moved there with his wife in January 2025. Separately, an e-bike rider sustained serious injuries after colliding with a car in Newport. Gwent Police officers attended the scene of the Newport incident. Both events highlight recent road traffic accidents involving personal electric transport devices across different regions, resulting in one fatality and one severe injury to the riders involved.
