Tyra Banks sues Netflix over America’s Next Top Model documentary, alleging defamation

Tyra Banks has filed a defamation lawsuit in a Los Angeles federal court against Netflix and the directors of the docuseries Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model. The lawsuit alleges that producers manipulated three and a half hours of interview footage, editing it down to sixteen minutes to construct a false narrative. Banks claims the series falsely suggests she allowed a contestant to be sexually assaulted, despite her taking responsibility for other controversial decisions during production.
