Unheard David Bowie songs from 1965 to be released – including ones with Jimmy Page on guitar

A new compilation titled David Bowie: The Shel Talmy Recordings will be released in September. The album features unheard tracks from 1965, recorded when Bowie was starting his career in London as Davy Jones. Described as the most complete collection of his nascent recordings, the material includes blues-influenced and psychedelic pop-rock songs. Notably, some of these tracks feature a pre-Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page on guitar, predating Bowie's breakthrough with Space Oddity in 1969.
