Officials have issued an urgent warning after linking 345 cases of salmonella to jalapeños sold at Chipotle. The outbreak has affected 27 states, with Colorado and Minnesota reporting the most cases. To date, 36 people have been hospitalised, although no deaths have occurred. In response to the expanding health crisis, Qdoba has followed the lead of Chipotle by removing jalapeños from its menu to prevent further illness among customers across the impacted regions.
